The calculators

The deadline countdown, penalty meter and registration threshold check are simplified models, provided to help you think about your position. They are estimates, not assessments. In particular they assume standard tax periods and standard penalty treatment, do not know your EmaraTax record, and cannot account for waivers, instalment arrangements, reconsideration outcomes or facts specific to you.

The Federal Tax Authority determines what you actually owe. Where a figure matters, have it checked.

Accuracy and change

The content reflects UAE VAT law as we understand it on the revision date shown, with the source legislation named so you can verify it. Tax law changes, and the FTA issues new decisions and guidance. We do not warrant that every figure remains current, and we are not obliged to update the site.

Acceptable use

You may read this site, and copy or print reasonable extracts for your own business use. You may not:

• republish, sell or systematically copy the content, or present it as your own;
• scrape, crawl or harvest the site in a way that burdens the servers, or try to gain unauthorised access to any part of it;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or in any way that breaches UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on combatting rumours and cybercrimes.

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, at any time, without notice.

To the fullest extent UAE law permits, the site is provided as it stands, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published here.
